The Path Of Water

The Path Of Water derived from a contemporary aboriginal poem by Ising Suaiyung depicts how the elder generation in his tribes passed down their knowledge of searching for headwater.

In this production,TAI body focuses its core experimental spirit on creating new dance forms based on Taiwan aboriginal songs and dances. Discussing the complex relations between human, tribes and the very fundamental source—water—from past to modern times, choreographer Watan Tusi honors the desires, quests, transmigrations of life forms and spirits. Through dancer's graceful body movements on a sketchy, relatively simple, abstract stage,TAI Body Theatre aims at developing a poetic, powerful body aesthetic and identity.
