The Truku, (one branch of the Taiwan Aboriginals), born in Zhuoxi township, Hualien County. Watan Tusi left his homeland, moved to Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan in his early ages. In 1997, he was moved and touched by a performance presented by the Formosa Aboriginal Dance and Song Troupe, which was the very beginning inspiration that made him devoted himself to the Taiwan aboriginal arts. Later on, he joined the Formosa Aboriginal Dance and Song Troupe, and had worked and learned Taiwan aboriginal tradition dance and songs for 17 years.
