“You can see the perseverance and toughness of our father generations, even though facing the changes of ways of living, being uprooted, intensive laboring work…; I hope every of us could remember their stories, because that’s how we get here, and then we can move on with their braveness and courage,” said Watan Tusi.

It is the story about the first generation immigrated from tribe to cities in 1980s in Taiwan; the chorographer got the inspirations from his childhood experiences when he lived with his foremen parents around the construction sites. They are like leaves, seeds of trees, flowing with ages and the changes of the social environments. Since living in cities, they absorbed the pop cultures like Japanese Enka, Chinese pop songs, and Taiwanese campus folk songs, etc. While laboring, and gathering, they sang those songs and danced together under the bridge, which reflected the optimistic characteristics of this foremost immigrants.
