Taiwan aboriginals have been losing their culture and the traditional ways of living under the governance of foreign regime and the influence of external cultures, and forced to attach themselves to the modern, industrial society. The tribes were invaded and occupied by the mines, cement plant, national parks and industrial districts.

      “The Sigh of Body” describes the weakening body instinct in the new urban living context; our bodies, minds and spirits are separated and collapsed, being unable to express the inner feeling of oneself.
